First grade good citizenship week

First grade good citizenship week

A good citizen is a person who is kind to the people around them. Being a good citizen also means that you keep your environment neat and clean. Mrs. Wardlaw one of the first grade teachers headed a “good citizenship week”, along with the help of the other first grade teacher, Mrs. Cook. The first grade class at Okeene Elementary learned about how to be good citizens. They walked to the Okeene Park and picked up trash. Good citizens are actively involved in their community and in the betterment of their fellow citizens.
