Stitt deserves our support on state gaming compacts
Saddled Up on the Trail
Governor Kevin Stitt held a press conference last Thursday to make his case on why the state’s gaming compacts with Native American Tribes expire on Jan. 1, 2020, and why the compacts should be re-negotiated.
Stitt first announced his intention to re-negotiate the gaming compacts last summer.
The announcement took a tremendous amount of courage.
Gov. Stitt is a member of The Cherokee Nation.
