Harrel awarded Governor’s Outstanding Achievement Award in Agriculture
During a special ceremony at the state capitol, Gov. Kevin Stitt announced Mr. Jimmy Harrel as the recipient of the Governor’s Outstanding Achievement Award in Agriculture. The Elk City rancher became the 22nd inductee into the Oklahoma Agriculture Hall of Fame, the state’s most prestigious agricultural award.
Harrel has always been a champion for agriculture. Over the years, he has worn many different hats—FFA member, rancher, rural servant, agriculture education instructor and owner of the Bank of Western Oklahoma, a premier agriculture lending bank. In each of these capacities, one thing has stayed the same: Mr. Harrel’s passion for the agriculture industry runs deep.
