Sanders attends chamber meeting Supports Dobrinski candidacy
Rep. Mike Sanders, R-Kingfisher, attended the Okeene Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Jan. 6, 2019 at the Okeene Community Building. Sanders spoke about his upcoming political decisions in the State House.
Sanders also gave his full support to Mike Dobriniski of Okeene in his bid to take Sanders’ seat in the House during this year’s elections. Rep. Sanders will be term limited out following this year’s legislative session, he will have served 12 years upon completion of his current term.
Dobrinski spoke about his campaign for Oklahoma House District 59. Dobrinski is a long time chamber member and board member. Dobrinski, and his late brother Jim Dobrinski, founded Dobrinski Chevrolet over 35 years ago. He is a life-long resident of Okeene, and his wife Ginny is the Okeene Speech teacher. The couple met in 3rd grade at Okeene, and are proud parents of the “Dobrinski Quadruplets;” Michael, James, Scott, and Shelby.
