Trio of Lady Whippets compete in All-Star Game; Hussey named Newcomer of the Year

The Okeene Lady Whippets softball season had a disappointing ending due to a schoolwide quarantine that saw them forfeit their district playoff games. However, three girls were able to compete in the Cherokee Strip All-Conference Game last Monday in Ringwood.

Senior Hailey Swart, junior Keely Hussey, and Aline-Cleo sophomore Peyton Rauch all competed in the All-Star event. Sophomore Hannah Nease was also named to the team, but was unable to participate, as she was still in quarantine from having contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19.
