Cancelled baseball season just one more adversity as Hood plans to be a Marine
For many of Okeene’s senior athletes, the cancellation of spring sports was a disappointing way to end their high school careers. However, Okeene’s Jonathan Hood, it’s particularly discouraging after he fought back from a knee injury from his junior year.
Hood was one of only two seniors slated to come out for baseball this spring, and was expected to play an important role as Okeene’s primary catcher. However, the season only lasted three games before being cancelled due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
